I finally upgraded to IE6 and it crashes far more than IE 5.5 which rarely did.
I'm not one of these people who checks out the bells and whistles of an upgrade, but
sometimes they find you. I noticed that IE 6 has a new feature that automatically crops large photos without regard to whether the picture scales well. You can still enlarge the picture to its real size but you may not even be aware of the feature. I don't care for this setting as a default. Especially since I like big pictures! If you want to alter this setting, click on
Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced-->Multimedia-->uncheck "enable automatic image resizing" and then hit apply-->OK

Guys, if you like to post naked pictures of yourselves, automatic resizing is definitely something you want to uncheck.
